#6 King Popiel
This demon belongs to Weles, the god of the underworld and magic.

He was one of the tribal leaders of Slavic Poland. According to ancient tradition, he called a rally with neighboring tribal leaders, who believed they were gathering to discuss a plan of mutual defense. He poisoned them all and threw their bodies in the lake, where mice began to feast on the corpses. Upon seeing what he had done, the outraged townsfolk drove Popiel away into a high tower. The hordes of mice followed, and devoured him and his family alive.
